Long time – no talk! Well, glad to share this little tech treat with you today.

If you’re like most people, you probably missed a trip or two over the past year. If you’re like me, you really MISS traveling!

So take a few minutes for a virtual drive through a new city (or 10 of them) right now with DRIVE AND LISTEN. You see the city through the view of the passenger seat and can flip through the local radio stations til you find something you like. So far this morning, I’ve cruised Budapest, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo!

Can you guess the cities below? Hover over the boxes to see the correct answer!

You might want to take a drive with your students. Pick a city from the target culture or visit 2-3 and compare!

What do learners notice about the city, the weather, the music, the traffic, the buildings?

What might they be able to infer based on what they see or what they hear?

How does it compare to driving in their own city?

Buckle up and enjoy the ride, my friends!

What do you think? How would you use this as a learning tool?

This is awesome! Just starting the arte callejero unit and am going to have them choose from a few cities and see what street art they see 🙂

Yes! I think the seeing and hearing it all at the same time really makes it special!
