After you share a little about yourself so they can get to know you (FIRST DAYS, FIRST IMPRESSIONS) it’s nice to get to know them a little, too!
Here’s a simple form I use duing the #firstweek so that students can connect back USING THE TARGET LANGUAGE. It’s so important to show them they can understand a lot – even if they can’t produce at the same level. Plus, this info helps me tailor my future lessons to connect with my students. (Example: One class loves tennis… I’ll start the sports unit with Rafael Nadal!)
These make for a fun bulletin board (or billboard as my friend K usually calls them). Kids love to show off their work and parents like to peek at them on Family night.
Download the PDFs below for free OR get access to all back-to-school resources & communicative units for Spanish, French, German, Italian at www.adiostextbook.com.
Did you use this form in your class? How did it go? We’d love to hear how you used it!
