Here are the creative and exciting bulletin boards that our students are seeing around the world in their language classrooms! Kara and I loved getting your emails and seeing bits and pieces of YOUR classrooms. We start school in the morning and now my board is like the child of all your examples. 🙂
Ok! Ok! I won’t make you wait any longer! Here they are… Enjoy!
There were so many great boards we are having a hard time choosing a winner! Help us! Leave a comment below telling us which one is YOUR favorite and we’ll announce the winner tomorrow!
My favorite is DEFINITELY the conversation corner with the floor pillows!! I wish I had more space in my room to do this! A great idea for next year maybe!
My favorite bulletin board is the “Hispanos Famosos.” I love the burst of culture. I also like the “Black Polka Dot” board. It looks like it invites students to read different magazines and has several calendars. Thanks for all of the ideas 🙂
I have a few favorites…. too many good ones to just pick one!
I like the cual es tu telefono
I also like the one with floor pillows
The one with green borders with papel picado and bien up top and versos de la biblia on right bulletin board
I love the wall with vayan y hagan discipulos de todas….
Wow, such good ideas. I still need to decorate mine :/ School doesn’t start till Sept 4th, so I have a bit of time though!
I have 4 favoritos: the hispanos famosos, the one with the phrase, question, and speaker of the week, (love the organization), the one with the actual items taped up n the board and the one that says “real world”. I’m guessing this is for students to bring in examples of Spanish they find in the real world? Better go and improve my boards!
hispanos famosos and phrase of the week! awesome ideas!

I’m a new teacher and am wondering where everyone gets those pretty cut out letters from? Thanks!
I think some are die-cuts. We have One at school, but only one “font.” Also you can buy them at parent-teacher stores.
Sorry I forgot to reply earlier but I wanted you to know that the letters for my class, I created on a cricut. You can purchase one at JoAnns….they give you a teacher discount and if you wait for a coupon you can get it for a pretty good deal. You can use 12 X 12 paper and choose from a ton of different fonts and whatever paper you choose. Its a lifesaver!!!! Has saved me so much time! Maybe your school would purchase one??? After the learning curve…you just type in the letters and it simply cuts it out!
I use something like a cricut, it is called a Slice. It is like a generic version of a cricut. I also waited for mine to go on sale. Check out the die cut at Joannes, they have a few different versions.
I agree w/ you, difficult to choose! I like the conversation corner idea the best. I plan on incorporating that idea into one of my station activities.
I love “Frase de la semana.” I think it’s great how you can put up a new phrase each week by using the clothes pins at the top. I copied this in my own classroom and my students love using the phrases. They are learning without realizing it. 🙂
What do each of the sections say on the bulletin board titled “Español uno comienza”? What are the little rocket ships underneath?
Julie K. sent this one in. It’s a great idea! Here’s how she explains it…
“We started doing a lot of formative assessment activities with our Middle School students this past year. One of the things we did was to create two large bulletin boards in our hallway on which we post the learning goals for each unit. Our mascot is a Rocket, so we had each student decorate a Rocket (no names). Each teacher used a different color for their students’ rockets. As the kids feel they have met an objective, they move their rocket. At the beginning of each unit, we ‘reset’ the rockets to the launch pad (start). “
