Looking for a way to add a little love in your classroom or on your cart? On Pinterest, I found a free download for a conversation heart banner in Spanish on the website Living Mi Vida Loca.
I was thinking that the hearts could also just be hung separately around the room, on a bulletin board, from the ceiling or used a some kind of activity. What do you think?? Comment below!
Abrazos a todos!
¡Me encanta! Muchísimas gracias.
Super cute! But a lot of work for the busy teacher! My students are loving the videos you gals posted! Thank you ~
Welcome! Any way a student that finishes early could do it? Or it’s a homework option? Beg for a student aide?
I do this every year very quickly-hand out hearts or even paper for them to cut out- we go over the common valentine vocab and they pick or I assign them a word/phrase. They have to write it correctly and get it on the wall. Sometimes we are lucky enough to find a bag of candy conversation hearts in español at one of our local stores. But when I taught middle school, and there weren’t food restrictions, we would have plain sugar heart cookies that we would then write on with the phrases. They had to show me, say it, then could eat or give their cookie away.

Awesome! We have a post about using the conversation hearts if you are interested: http://creativelanguageclass.com/2012/02/01/idea-21-candy-love-letters/
Yum!
I also teach fun vocab and then have students cut out a heart and write their name in the middle and then I play kumbia kings song te quiero and as it plays they pass hearts around the room and when the music stops they must write a phrase or piropo on the heart and after the song the owner gets it back… they love this
Super cute!
