What is a Pecha Kucha?

Step 1: Show a Pecha Kucha in the TL.
Step 2: Have student analyze the pecha kucha to identify what makes a “good one.” As a class, make a list. Let them come up with it. See “Additional Notes” example.
Step 3: Write a scenario. See two examples below.
Step 4: Find 5 pictures. (We found that 20 was too many, but you can change the amount to fit what they can do.)
Step 5: Give them 20 seconds to talk about each picture.
Step 6: Assess their proficiency and give feedback. You can also give feedback on the other list.
